However to be surprised by this is worthless. ![]() Upon release it didn’t feel quite as dense, it’s certainly nowhere near as political and doesn’t follow an obvious linear narrative like albums past. the HUGELY anticipated follow-up to his grammy award winning album To Pimp a Butterfly. Recently Compton’s Kendrick Lamar released DAMN. Thanks to Frank Ocean and most recently Future one album is no longer enough, artists should drop two LPs at a time. Albums are no longer 8-10 tracks burnt onto a compact disk, they are films, magazines, art installations and social commentaries. Vinyl is significant again and music streaming services dominate the way we consume new music. ![]() Shoutout to the internet conspiracy fuckboys for ruining a great album.
